Kevin held a Security Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting position at a publicly company in the oil & gas industry. His primarily duties included the preparation of Quarterly and Annual Reports on Form 10-Q/10-K to be filed with the SEC. He also worked with the legal team in preparing the Proxy Statement and other miscellaneous 8-k filings. In addition, Kevin prepared technical memorandums under US GAAP interpretation as they relate to complex accounting transactions.
Upon graduating from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) he worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in its assurance practice primarily servicing clients in the credit services and life sciences and pharmaceuticals industries. Prior to his stint at PwC, he held several finance internship positions at various companies including The Boeing Company, Global Capital Markets, and OCE Group.
Kevin graduated Cum Laude from UCI with a B.A. in Economics and Minor in Accounting. Since 2010, he has been a Certified Public Accountant in California and is authorized by law to sign reports on attest engagements.
Recently, Kevin authored Essential Knowledge For a First Year Audit Staff/Intern At a Big 4 Accounting Firm and Big 4 Accounting Audit - Interview Tricks & Tips. The books aim to educate and assist aspiring accountants with the interview process and their first year in public accounting.
Life can be hard and even the strongest of us have rough days. Quotes from famous people has helped Kevin get through those days. As a result, he authored a third book entitled 365 Most Prolific Motivating Quotes - From Today's and Yesterday's Leaders.
When he is not working, Kevin enjoys golfing, rock climbing, meditation, and yoga.
